One of the key objectives of the Association is to promote a sustainable gambling sector in Africa where consumers can enjoy a safe online gambling experience . To support this, we have developed an ambitious set of industry standards to complement the many different and stringent licensing requirements in the African countries.

• PAN-AFRICAN SOCIAL MEDIA ADVERTISING AND MARKETING CODE OF CONDUCT FOR ONLINE GAMBLING: The Code is specific in scope and introduces essential standards for advertising content, across all social media platforms. The objective of the Code is to enhance consumer protection and child online protection through the promotion of responsible advertising measures for online gambling.

The Code has a particular focus on :

✓ How gambling advertising should and should not look like.
✓ Responsible gambling messaging and campaigns.
