PRINCIPLES

In pursuit of its Mandate as set out in the Establishing Treaty, the Association affirms and declares its adherence to the following principles:

1. Respect for the sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity of Member States.

2. Non-interference in the internal affairs of other Member States.

3. Good governance, anchored in transparency, accountability, professionalism, and the rule of law.

4. Peaceful settlement of disputes among Member States.

5. Regulatory independence, competence, and impartiality in the discharge of regulatory functions.

6. Promotion of gender equality and non-discrimination.

7. Promotion of cooperation, solidarity, and mutual assistance among Member States.

8. Commitment to the development adoption and harmonization of gambling standards across Member States.
